Cinnamon Your Plants
Plants are living organisms, right? Just like humans. So, it’s no wonder that they also love cinnamon just like we do! And no, not in their pumpkin spice latte. Plants have a much different agenda when it comes to cinnamon.
As it turns out, cinnamon has anti-fungal superpowers. Plants, particularly those grown in greenhouses, are prone to a disease called “damping off.” This disease causes a white fungus to grow on your plant, rendering them inedible or unattractive. So next time you go to sprinkle some cinnamon on your latte or french toast, give your plants a little dash too.
