Potatoes and Roses
What do potatoes and roses have in common? Not much. Roses are gorgeous flowers and often used to represent love. Potatoes, on the other hand, are a seriously delicious food when fried in oil. As luck would have it, this odd couple can work nicely together.
Drill a small hole in a potato using a knife. Plant about a one inch sized piece of a rose stem inside. Plant the potato and it will work as a beautiful conductor for growing your single stem rose. It’ll also be a nice story to tell when guests come over and admire your gorgeous roses.
