I have no idea what could possess someone to shave an emoji into their head, much less spend the time and mass amounts of money to dye the resulting rat tail into a rainbow, and yet here we are. This isn’t even the original person or look. The original, sans the blob on the top, went viral in 2019, creating a puking emoji movement.
Emoji hair has been around since 2017, when women worldwide used emoji stickers to decorate their selfies. That trend was kind of cute but didn’t involve the dedication that this…art?….does. The original puking rainbow emoji was inspired by a dream and sculpted in Melbourne, Australia.
