A Lucky Cold
We’re sure the bulk of you reading this article must be familiar with the great story of how General Patton died. Fun fact, it had practically nothing to do with the war that was being fought at the time. If you weren’t familiar with the story, this caption reveals the ending – the famous general was killed in a car accident.

This story is a rather interesting one. First, from the perspective of the great-great-uncle – what are the odds of having a cold that kept you home on the day that you might have died? That’s one lucky cold. Second, it was a nice thing for him to keep the general’s dog, Willie, and it makes for a pretty great story.
