This couple got an unexpected upgrade after a rainstorm hit their town. The original poster said the rain wasn’t that bad, but no one would assume that based on what happened to their backyard. Their entire backlot was flooded, making it look more like a lake than a grassy oasis.
This poster’s poor husband was convinced to go out into the flooded backyard so she could snap a photo for scale. The water is almost up to his knees! The flooding might be worth it. They could try to sell their house and market it as a lakeside vacation property. People might be convinced.
