#12: Rotten Fruits
Kathleen Ryan creates these rotten fruits by penning gemstones and beads to a foam foundation. Each one is made up of thousands of tiny pieces that have been meticulously placed together to create the illusion. They appear to be normal-sized fruit that can fit in your hand but are huge!

In her garden, you can find the Jack O’Lantern, home to two-foot-tall lemons. Her work may be seen in New York City. It takes her approximately two months to complete one piece of moldy fruit, but the larger ones might take considerably longer. It’s pretty ingenious.
