#6: When Lightning Strikes
The chances of humans getting struck by lightning are about 1 in 500,000. Although it’s really not likely, it’s still important to take safety precautions during a lightning storm. While humans can protect themselves from the natural elements, mailboxes sadly cannot. This poor mailbox was a victim of a lightning attack.
The metal of the box probably attracted lightning, and it didn’t stand a chance against the power of nature. It’s pretty amazing how it got completely destroyed, but the plastic trash can is sitting next to the wreckage completely unscathed. I guess they won’t be getting any junk mail for a while, at least.
