Jim Beaver
Jim Beaver was born in Laramie, Wyoming, in 1950. Throughout his childhood, Beaver had never shown any interest in becoming an actor or even being in the entertainment industry at all. Since his father was a minister, Jim and his family moved around quite a bit and that habit didn’t stop once he joined the Marine Corp.
After being discharged from the army in 1971, Jim starred in a lot of local theatre productions. Finally moving to NYC in 1979, he was cast into roles in films like The Hasty Heart and The Rainmaker. After that, he continued with acting and directing, working with fellow stars including Bruce Willis and Whoopi Goldberg.
