Let’s get ready to rock and roll, kiddos
“Rock and roll” is a phrase most utilized by Midwestern dads. Just ask any Midwestern millennial growing up in the ‘90s. “Let’s get ready to rock and roll!” It’s not just a genre of music, folks. It’s a way of life, especially for middle-aged people and dads around the country (does Phil Dunphy come to mind, or is it just us?).
Boomers love nothing more than a good rocking and rolling. Sometimes simultaneously. Other times while listening to actual rock and roll. Most of the time, it’s a phrase uttered to coerce the kids out of bed so they can make it to the airport in time for the annual family vacation (like we said, Phil Dunphy everyone).
