Oh, the roads you’ll take to get to places
Remember maps? Like physical, tangible maps? Boomers sure do, as they love reminding us. Millennials may recall them as a staple of their youth, but boomers have been synonymous with maps for far longer, and they aren’t ready to give them up just yet. In a sense, that’s something we truly admire about them.
Bear in mind that, back in their day, boomers didn’t have Google maps or the internet to look to for directions. Chances are they memorized the roads they traveled, especially if they’ve spent their lives in a small town. Now, young drivers probably don’t remember those kinds of details because of their reliance on the world wide web/map apps. So, this feels like an ill-meaning jab at the expense of boomers.
