The result of war
They say that war is hell, and we couldn’t agree more. However, we also can’t deny the importance of fighting for certain freedoms, even if it takes troops to foreign lands over a thousand miles away. Today, it’s easy to forget how many people fought and lost their lives for what they believed was right, so here’s a friendly reminder.
The pictures above the shores of Normandy during D-Day and 70 years later. The US military dubbed the shores Juno Beach, and it became a pool of the blood of over 72,000 soldiers on that fateful day in 1994. Today, it’s the perfect spot to catch a few rays.
