#6: The Human Library
Have you ever wanted to rack a person’s brain and ask them a million questions but never had the time or the means to do so? Sure, books are great and full of useful information, but nothing quite compares to the experience of listening to someone talk about their own life rather than reading about it in a book.
In Denmark, you can physically borrow a person instead of a book in some libraries for up to 30 minutes. The organization, The Human Library, fights ideas like prejudice throughout Denmark by implementing this program. The organization first started in Copenhagen in 2000 and now exists in 85 different countries.
