#36: Thanks for the Warning
For people who may not realize that fireplace equals fire equals hot, signs were created to let them know. But for people who have low visibility, somebody had the genius idea to add braille to that sign that shouldn’t be touched—you know, just in case the heat radiating from the fire wasn’t warning enough.
Apart from the very obvious safety issue here, this sign gives us all sorts of threatening vibes. It’s almost daring people to touch it and feel the burn of hot metal. And knowing that anyone with low visibility won’t be going near the sign in the first place, it only exists to make people want to touch it even more.
