#27: Your Toothbrush
You may or may not have heard this from your dentist, but it’s recommended to replace your toothbrush every couple of months. Toothbrushes can harbor plenty of bacteria (that comes from our mouths, obviously), which can, in turn, lead to unwanted infections and health issues if not replaced regularly.
The general rule of thumb is to replace your toothbrush every three months. However, many people forget the necessity of getting a new one after every sickness. Whether it was a cold, tonsillitis, or any other ailment, continuing to use the same toothbrush can risk re-infection, hindering recovery.
