False-Promise Cookies
During the holidays, residents love to give baked treats to their neighbors. It’s a way of showing kindness and spreading the holiday spirit. From pumpkin bread to chocolate fudge, people love to show off and share their delicious goodies. It’s a friendly and delicious tradition.
One resident received a plate of cookies on Christmas from their neighbor. After they had finished eating the entire plate, they found a concerning warning on the bottom of the plate. The plate was supposed to be used for decorative purposes only because it might poison food. Not sure if the neighbors were aware of this or not, but it certainly is suspicious.
