Shrek 2 is one of the greatest cinematic achievements of our time. After all, adjusted for inflation, it’s the highest-grossing animated film ever. It raked in over $1 billion at the box office, making it more successful than any Pixar movie. Take that, Woody and Buzz – you’re not as good as Shrek!
And it’s no wonder – with its lovable characters, catchy soundtrack, and hilarious jokes, Shrek 2 is a true classic. However, despite his iconic transformation, human Shrek still wasn’t as handsome as Antonio Banderas! Shrek 2 made more money than you’ll ever see in your lifetime. That should cheer you up…or depress you further.
