#18: The Motor Wheel
Behold the quirky creation known as the Motorwheel! This eccentric invention teeters on the edge of classification as a motorcycle, but it’s truly in a league of its own. Unlike any motorbike you’ve ever seen, the Motorwheel operates on a sleek, metallic rail nestled snugly within a tire. It’s a marvel of engineering, a wild ride that blurs the lines between conventional categories and dares to be different!
Steering the wheel is the ingenious Swiss engineer Monsieur Gerder, in the year 1931. We find him in the heart of the picturesque French city of Arles, embarking on an exhilarating journey across the scenic landscapes of France, all the way to the vibrant land of Spain. We can’t help but speculate, did he manage to complete this daring adventure unscathed?
