45. The Younger Generations Make Me Feel Old

Listen, I’m not that old. I’m an adult, but I’m not 72 years old. I’m still young, I still know young things, and I still get carded whenever I go out to buy alcoholic beverages. However, any time I’m around the younger generations, I feel incredibly old.

This little exchange is a great example of how old I can sometimes feel. When I was young, I used to burn CDs all the time. It was amazing and a huge part of my life for a while there. The realization that a whole generation doesn’t know how to burn CDs is definitely not what I needed to hear today. I’m still young, I promise!
