Broken baseball bats
For every high-value discovery at a thrift store, there are a million worthless items around it. One worker at Goodwill came across a box filled with baseball bats. To say the bats were in less-than-optimal conditional would be an understatement. The bats were destroyed beyond hopes of restoration.
Nobody knows who donated left the bats in the dumpster and why. The oldest bat from the collection was dated back to the 1930s. If this bat were still intact, the previous owner could have possibly made some serious dough. However, seeing as how the bats had been sitting in standing water for days, they were probably broken before being tossed away.
