Settling the scores with sangria
A 15-year-old cashier, daughter of the lunchtime restaurant owner, had the unpleasant experience of dealing with a rude customer. From 2 to 4 PM, the restaurant only served tapas. The customer made a huge scene about wanting the full dinner menu at 3 PM, going as far as spitting on the cashier’s shoe.
The mom, who was the sole cook in the kitchen, reluctantly agreed to prepare the dinner course. Another server was waiting on the rude customer’s table and was delivering a pitcher of sangria. All of a sudden, the server’s hand “slipped,” and the pitcher fell straight onto the woman’s head.
