Here, we have another case of a husband’s fragile ego forcing him into a reverse-psychology trap set up by his loving wife. She told him that he didn’t have the handyman skills to make a bedframe, and he absolutely had to prove her wrong. Even though she genuinely felt he couldn’t, she would win either way.
So, he proceeded to build the best darn bed frame you can imagine. He even asked a buddy of his to help prove his wife “wrong,” and the buddy was more than willing to lend a helping hand. At the end of the day, she got a new bed frame, and he could brag to her that he possessed god-like craftsman skills.
