Modern Art
Renowned artist Richard Jackson created this 2013 art installation. It’s called “Bad Dog” for obvious reasons, and it’s part of his worldwide retrospective, Ain’t Painting a Pain, which started in Orange County, California, before touring the world. He did have a reason for doing so if you’re curious why.
He’s making a statement about the art world’s elitist mentality, and it’s a big one. This 28-foot-tall, 32-foot-long steel and fiber dog has reinforced composite skin. He wanted an amusing sculpture that anybody could enjoy, and he hit the bullseye!
