What’s for Dinner?
Traumas in childhood can have a long-term impact on your life. Most individuals accept this, while others may find egregious methods to push you for no apparent reason. You don’t want to revisit any situation similar to the traumatic event, no matter how little the incident seems.
In one case, a girl stopped eating pork due to a traumatic incident involving her beloved pet pig. While most people would respect her dietary choices, her boyfriend’s mother conveniently cooked pork every night she was asked to dine with them. The mother was against this woman, given that the family virtually only ate pork during meals together with her.
