Flying uteruses
Let us try to make sense of it for a second if we can. Some people thought that the female body was so delicate that it couldn’t survive speeds of more than 50 miles per hour. The response wasn’t encouraging at all if you asked what would happen if you did it.
It was anticipated that the uteruses would fly out of their bodies. Whoever conceived this idea must have pictured uteruses dangling from some deep cavern in the stomach and accelerating would cause them to shoot off whatever they were connected to (fallopian tubes?).
