Radios
Radios were created as a means of communication and used by mariners to keep in touch with friends, family, and business associates on other vessels and land. The radios of the 1900s were rather hefty and required manual tuning to find the correct wavelength.
Today’s radio players are more portable, with some requiring no antennas to operate and accessing internet radio via wifi. Some radios also serve as musical boxes.
