Preventing icy windshields
Wintertime is arguably the best time of the year, at least for those who don’t have to drive to work. Or the rest of us, the entire season is one long pain in the neck. Defrosting your windows can take a long time, but you have to do it to ensure your safety and the safety of other motorists.
Here’s a neat trick that you might want to try out. Before you crash for the night, take some time to rub a halved onion on the windshield, windows, and mirrors of your car. This will allegedly prevent ice from forming on the sleek surfaces. So, you won’t have to spend 30 to 40 minutes angrily chipping away at the ice on your car’s windows.
