Bos’on ‘ea Par’y
If you really want to offend an Englishman, don’t make fun of his teeth or his Cockney accent. Instead, just take whatever bags of tea you have in your cupboard and toss it away. The British learned an important lesson back on December 16, 1773. Mess with the colonies and they’ll tuirn an entire harbor into a giant, non-steeped cup of Earl Gray.
It seems pretty silly today, but back then, the event took the British aback. Imagine having your full power over your colonies and one of them decides to rebel. Nobody did anything to defy the colonists before then. Then there was a huge war where a bunch of guys with pitchforks beat the English like a drum.
