When you go to the hospital or the doctor’s office, there are times when a nurse or a technician might notice that something is wrong but they might not say anything to you about it. It is the responsibility of the attending physician to make that determination in situations like the one involving this particular individual.
At first glance, this may appear to be an easy way to avoid a difficult conversation; however, there is a cost associated with this course of action as well. It is very difficult to put on the appearance that nothing is wrong when one is aware that there is, in fact, something wrong.
