Diana Was Committed to Charity Work
Princess Diana wasn’t one of those people who did charity work just to earn brownie points with the media and public. She genuinely cared about the less fortunate and wanted to bring attention to important causes. According to Time magazine, she was once linked to over 100 charities for various causes like education, AIDS, and HIV prevention, banning the use of landmines, and battling homelessness and poverty.
She auctioned many of her famous dresses and raised more than $5 million for breast cancer and AIDS charities. Diana also traveled all over the world to places like Africa, India, Indonesia, and more to get up, close, and personal with issues she believed in fighting for.
