It might work, but that doesn’t mean that it’s safe. We’re encouraging thinking outside the box and finding creative solutions, but not if it’s dangerous. And this certainly seems dangerous. This person wanted to bake a cake, but they didn’t have a mixer. They did have an electric drill, though, and they thought it could be a fitting replacement.

Sure, you can mix cake batter with a drill, but just because it works doesn’t mean you should do it. There are many ways this situation could’ve ended. Some people should not be allowed to cook or bake. There are too many accidents waiting to happen in the kitchen, especially when you throw an electric drill into the mix.
