More Of A Tourist Trap Than An Interesting Place: The Grand Canyon Skywalk
Even though the Skywalk at the Grand Canyon is a remarkable architectural achievement, that is not the primary reason that millions of tourists visit the canyon each year. Along with the excitement of feeling as though you are floating through the air, it is supposed to provide you with unrivaled views of the natural wonder that is the Grand Canyon.
However, the experience has been exaggerated to an absurd degree, and the attraction is, in all honesty, more of a tourist trap than a place of interest. Hiking around the national park and having a private look at the canyon is a better use of your time and money than visiting the canyon itself.
