Shia LeBeouf: Fury
Method acting is all very well, and the amount of work it takes to follow this way of playing a role is impressive indeed. However, some actors don’t consider the impact this can sometimes have on their colleagues during filming. Shia LeBeouf took his role in the 2nd World War film “Fury” very seriously.
He made a cut on his cheek that he deliberately kept open and unhealed for the whole of filming. He also pulled out one of his teeth for a more authentic performance. What really impacted the set, however, was his decision not to shower for 30 days. The crew couldn’t deal with this and so he was given a separate room to go to between shoots.
