42. Scrubs – My Own Personal Jesus
USA/Season 1/2001Aired on NBC
directed by Jeff Melman, written by Debra Fordham
Working in a medical clinic and being strict: it can once in a while be hard to accommodate the two, as a troubled Turk discovers after an especially unpleasant Christmas Eve in the trauma center at Sacred Heart. It’s a bustling Christmas both by and by and expertly for the entirety of the Scrubs posse here, however, Turk’s story is the passing through-line: from his emergency of confidence and the response of his colleagues to such, straight up to the contacting, lively decision wherein he finds a missing pregnant young lady that Elliot had been frantically looking for and recaptures a little expectation.
There’s incredible material somewhere else as well: Dr. Cox requests JD to tape the birth from a companion’s infant, with typically entertaining outcomes; All the incomparable Scrubs figures of speech are available, right and put to incredible use – the end portrayal is a contacting result, JD’s dream arrangement including Turk as a gospel serve is a feature, and the short “not getting it” book shop cutaway gag is one of the show’s unequaled most amusing gags.
