11. ER – I’ll Be Home For Christmas
USA/Season 8/2001Aired on NBC
Crises actually occur over Christmas – and don’t the staff at County General Hospital in Chicago know it? All through its run, ER highlighted 15 Christmas scenes, and they would in general draw out the absolute best in the show, in any event, during its fading later years. While the serialized idea of the show directs that only one out of every odd plot strand within reach is happy, these 44 minutes feel completely pervaded with the occasional environment.
In his last normal appearance on the show, Dr Dwindle Benton’s care preliminary peaks, a fantastic end to one of the arrangement’s most grounded circular segments that close with on appropriately blissful, weepy high; Likewise, look at season 1’s “Snowstorm” – an unquestionable requirement, regardless of whether it’s not as bubbly as a large portion of the show’s later Christmas scenes – and season 5’s “The Miracle Worker.”)
