39. The dishes strike again
Living with roommates can be complicated, but so does living with your significant other. This girl found the perfect way to tell her boyfriend to do the dishes without actually having to say it and risk getting into an ugly argument over whose job it is to do the dishes (it’s clearly the man’s job, that’s already settled).
You can’t ignore a note that starts this way – you have to read all the way through – and so this note is bound to get her boyfriend’s attention. What did we do before we knew that being passive-aggressive works and that we don’t have to express our feelings?
