Have you ever baby proofed your home, then were unable to open something you had baby-proofed? Case in point: when baby proofing our kitchen, we always had a hard time opening the mechanism we put on the cabinets to keep the baby from opening them- leading us to joke they were adult proof too.

Child Locks were a game changer when they first appeared. Now parents could have control over the opening and closing of their doors and drive with peace of mind. However, they weren’t meant to be adult proof.  Look, parents are tired. Give us a break. Teach us about the child lock and we’ll move on with our lives.
