Do you ever dream of traveling the country with your spouse? Living in an RV and seeing all that America has to offer? If so, this blog post is for you! In it, we will discuss how we made the decision to live in an RV full time, what our expenses are, and some tips on how to make the experience as smooth as possible. We hope that this information inspires you to take the plunge and travel with your loved one!

The first step to living in an RV full time with your spouse is deciding whether it’s the right move for you. It may seem like a big decision, but consider the advantages of RV living compared to traditional housing. For one, there are no long-term commitments or leases involved – you can stay as long or as short as you’d like at any given location (though overnight stays at rest stops and campgrounds do have time limits). Additionally, since RVs are self-contained, you won’t need to worry about setting up utilities or dealing with landlords.

When considering our budget for this lifestyle change, we had to think about both our initial expenses and ongoing costs. To start, we invested in a quality RV, and then outfitted it with the items we would need to make living in it comfortable. This included kitchenware, bedding, an outdoor shower, and other basics. We also made sure to set aside money for maintenance of our RV, as well as insurance coverage should something happen while we are on the road.

Finally, here are some tips that have helped us make this dream a reality:

  • Research before you buy – Make sure you research not only the different types of RVs available but also their associated costs so that you can find one that fits your budget and needs.
  • Get organized – To keep things running smoothly while traveling around in an RV full time, staying organized is key. Investing in quality storage options helps keep the living space clean and uncluttered.
  • Plan ahead – Research campgrounds, RV parks, and rest stops ahead of time so that you have a plan for where you are going before leaving your current location.

Additionally, take some time to familiarize yourself with the local laws and regulations in each area you plan on visiting. We hope this post has given you some insight into what it takes to live in an RV full time with your spouse. There is definitely a lot to think about when making this life-changing decision, but if done correctly it can be an incredibly rewarding experience! Best of luck!
