#2: Sunscreen
We all know the importance of wearing sunscreen, but it’s equally important to wear an effective one. According to the Mayo Clinic, sunscreen retains its efficacy for approximately three years. Even if the bottle signals an expiry of two, you’ve got an additional year’s grace. After this period, its ability to protect itself diminishes.

Keeping sunscreen for three years might sound extensive, yet it aligns well with the habits of seasonal users who purchase annually. There’s no rush to discard your sunscreen each year, but vigilance is advised. A quick check of those long-forgotten bottles stashed away can ensure you still have adequate protection at your disposal.
