Arnold Schwarzenegger today
Long after his retirement from the sport, Schwarzenegger remains a symbol of fitness and bodybuilding in the country, thanks to his large contribution to the field. Throughout the years, he’s become the owner of gyms and various fitness magazines. During the seventies, aside from his promising sports career, Schwarzenegger has sought out a career in acting. His first notable role was in the 1976 film Stay Hungry.
Eventually, Schwarzenegger has conquered the world of acting, and he made a name for himself in Hollywood. His most memorable role to this day must be his title role as the Terminator in James Cameron’s popular 1984 action film. As if bodybuilding and acting weren’t exciting enough for him, in the early 2000s Arnold took a break from Hollywood and entered the political sphere. He served as the governor of California between 2003-2011 before returning to Hollywood.
