Depending on where you live, protecting your car at ALL costs is imperative. I would add that this is one way to ensure your car stays in your hands. Lock it up! Literally, take the gear shifter and lock it to itself using a padlock. It might just work, and it might keep your car from rolling backwards too.

Although I highly doubt the latter, this person is playing it safe with this homemade contraption that’s really quite an oddly brilliant idea if you ask me. When left to their own devices, people can get pretty creative, don’t you think?
