Natalie Portman
Natalie Hershlag, now recognized as Natalie Portman and famously known for her role as Thor’s love interest and eventual replacement, Jane Foster, had anything but a conventional Hollywood upbringing. Originally born in Jerusalem, Israel, she relocated to Washington D.C. at the age of three. Subsequently, her family moved to Long Island, New York, where Portman attended Syosset High School in Syosset. The featured photo captures a moment from 1999, her senior year, during which she was already an accomplished actress.
Portman made her feature film debut at the age of 13 in LĂ©on: The Professional. An interesting anecdote from her early career is that she opted to skip the premiere of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace to focus on studying for finals.
