Did the Mammoths Build the Pyramids?
If you thought the fact about Cleopatra was wild, get a load of this. How long ago did wooly mammoths live? According to fossil findings, they died out after the last ice age, which took place roughly 10,000 years in the past. However, evidence shows that there were a few stragglers long after that, with their remains being dated back to about 3,500 years ago.
This means that the pyramids were already about 1,000 years old, and wooly mammoths survived while the pyramids were being built. However, no evidence shows that these mammals were in Egypt, let alone used to construct the pyramids. That would’ve been pretty wild.
