Rakotz Bridge in Germany
One of Kromlau Park’s most well-known features is the arching Devil’s Bridge, or Rakotz Bridge. When viewed from below, the bridge appears to form a circle. As a result of popular belief, the bridge was dubbed “Devil’s Bridge” because of its obscurity and invisibility. A local knight built it in 1860 using native stone.
It’s possible to see the bridge in the park, but it’s not safe to cross because it’s protected as a historical landmark.
