Yikes
Do you remember that ad by Coca-Cola telling parents to give their children Coke at an earlier age? Yeah, that was pretty ridiculous, but it’s not as ridiculous as this ad. To sell more razors, Gillette created this ad that explicitly tells parents to buy shaving razors for their kids so they can begin shaving sooner rather than later.
We don’t know what sort of children people had back in the 1960s or 1970s, but we’re fairly certain that wee babies didn’t have stubbles to worry about. Even if they did, why would you shave your baby? A mustachioed baby is the funniest thing in the world!
