Rinse Produce
After a long day of shopping at the supermarket, the last thing anyone wants to do is rinse their produce. But a dishwasher can make the chore go by in the blink of an eye, or at least a couple of minutes while the machine does its magic. To get started, place your produce in the dishwasher in an orderly fashion.
Turn your machine on start the rinsing cycle. Make sure you use cold water since hot water can steam your veggies. That might not be the worst thing, especially if you’re cooking potatoes. They’ll come out slightly softened but not baked-potato-level fluffy.
