In the year 2000, Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant were the Epitome of a Perfect Love Story.

Vanessa Laine snatched an 18-year-old Kobe Bryant, who would go on to become one of the most successful and well-respected players in the history of the National Basketball Association. When they first met on the shoot of a hip hop music video in 2000, the two grew inseparable and decided to tie the knot the following year. They have two children.

Just over a month after their initial meeting, Kobe won the first of what would be five NBA championships for him. Kobe and his daughter Gianna, who were two of the couple’s four children at the time of their deaths, were killed in a sad accident in 2020. This photograph demonstrates that young love can last a lifetime, and his legacy goes on.
