The glass fog box
The views from skyscrapers are often unrivaled, especially in that they can show you not only the horizon, but also the whole of the city below. Some buildings, like the Sears/Willis Tower, help to make your experience even better by using glass floors and boxes to enhance your viewing ability.
No amount of glass will help you to see far when the weather looks like this, though. Instead of capturing the stunning city below and blue skies above, this photographer got what looks more like a scene from a disaster movie. At least they will always have the memory!
