What Ever Happened to the Cast of Maude?

After Maude, Bain found even greater fame as Mr. Drummond on Diff’rent Strokes, where his kind, fatherly persona made him a television icon of the 1980s. His portrayal of caring authority figures resonated deeply with audiences and became his signature style in American sitcom history.

Bain retired in the 1990s and passed away in 2013 at age 89. His time on Maude remains a testament to his ability to bring depth to comedy, using calm humor and empathy to bridge generational and political divides with grace.
