What Ever Happened to the Cast of Maude?

John Burns, the naive and eager young cab driver, appeared in the first season of Taxi as the wide-eyed newcomer trying to make sense of life at the Sunshine Cab Company. Randall Carver played him with warmth and innocence, perfectly capturing the charm of an earnest dreamer.

John’s optimism provided a gentle counterpoint to the cynicism of the other drivers. Though his time on the show was short, Carver’s portrayal helped establish Taxi’s heart and tone, showing how even in a chaotic workplace, decency and sincerity could still find a home.
