Skip the Room Service
Unless you’re staying at a top-notch resort, (and sometimes even then,) room service is not quite the stuff of dreams. We all imagine a beautiful silver platter wheeled in on a meal cart with the best steaming foods. Maybe a steak dinner after a fancy night out, or breakfast in bed after a luxurious sleep. In reality, that isn’t quite right.
Most room service meals are fairly lackluster, and yet they still cost a pretty penny. Better to pocket that cash and order at the dining area. Or you can visit local restaurants and try the cuisine at your vacation spot. Either way, it’s probably best to avoid the overpriced meals on wheels.
